I only ever advise clients to buy in the way Thai law allows, whether that is a registered lease, a freehold building or a freehold condo within the foreign quota. There are several options, and I am happy to talk them through with you before you meet your lawyer.

After 24 years in Phuket, I am very hands-on with the sale and purchase contract. I prepare it well in advance and in your favour, so it is ready for your lawyer to review – saving you time and legal fees.

Special terms can be added when the developer and buyer agree to them. They are contract terms, not set in law – which is why I work with long-established developers with a good track record and good after-sales service.

Viewings are arranged in a comfortable, air-conditioned private minibus with a driver, and the developer’s own sales team is on site to show you each project.
